February 26 - Off to the leisure centre for a fun afternoon of swimming. We don't get here often, but, there were so many people there that they had to stop letting in swimmers. Makes sense, there is only a certain number of people allowed per life guard on duty. Lucky for us, the cut off was right behind us. Our kids were in the water for 3 hours and when it was time to leave, no one wanted to get out. Then it was off to Dairy Queen for supper and dessert!
February 27 - After Sunday School today, I brought home three extra kids with me for a full afternoon of play! Ty had his cousin and a friend, my daughters had one of their friends over. I told everyone that I only had one rule - everyone needs to get along. They all did fantastic. Sometimes when you get a mix like that, they don't always mix 'well'. Today, they did. I chose this of the three boys playing with Ty's playmobil.
February 28 - Today is the day that I am dusting off my food scale, pulling out my old weight watcher's books and committing to me, myself and I that I will lose 20 lbs my July 1. I lost 15 lbs last spring, only to gain 10 of it back! A nice incentive will be that
Ephiphanie camera bag that I have had my eyes on. DH says that if I lose 20 lbs in that time frame that will be a gift for me! Yahoo! I know I can do this. After each and every one of my children were born I lost all the weight and then some, with the exception of my last child. I still have 20 extra lbs hanging on this frame. Time to lose it! I think I will use Monday as the day to update my progress on here.
March 1 - My daughter just waiting to head out onto the ice. She says she doesn't like it much, but every picture I take on the ice she is all smiles!
March 2 - My son did this. He brought it up to me and says "You're my cutest and bestest mommy" {I am his only mommy...lol}, I made this for you. Granted he traced it, but he did a great job! I just had to use this as my POTD.
Just a funny quote that my daughter said the other day...we are driving down the road and see two moose and she says, "Mom, that would be a great picture of the day...!" Both my husband and I laughed. It is rubbing off on her, she is taking more notice of the world around her, I LOVE that!
March 3 - Some of you already know that we are a homeschooling family {I love it!}. Today, my son took a unique approach to writing his numbers...all on his own he got his blankie, a little race car and started writing his numbers into the blankie! I love this!
March 4 - Tonight our family was heading into town for a young people's night. Kids aged 4 to 12 had a bible story, craft, games and food! It was a fun night...my POTD was going to be from this, however, half way there I realized, I forgot my camera. I felt sick, really I did. I have not missed a picture since the beginning and I really wanted to capture something from this night. I was sure what I was going to use for today. It started snowing tonight, great big beautiful flakes and they were piling up everywhere...aha, my new POTD. I know I have used a snowflake in the past for my POTD but I love this one even more. It always amazes me all that God has created around us for our pleasure and enjoyment.
